Fragmented Reality

Where Augmented Reality aims to extend our ability to make sense of the world, Disintegration is a “Fragmented Reality” experience. It deconstructs the digital video, which is the underlying sensor for the computer, by continuously bringing its digital atoms out of synch, effectively shifting their timelines. Eventually, the picture dissolves and becomes a multitude of instants, all shown simultaneously. The result is a disconcerting perception of the outside world which challenges the orientation of the viewer.
